What is in it, and what that means before a competition.
Riders in competition need to know what goes on the surfaces around their horse. This page states the facts, the advice we give, and the limit of what we are willing to promise.
The facts
- The ingredients of our essential oils are not on the doping list.
- The sector does communicate that comparable effects can, in rare cases, lead to a positive test.
- We have no indication that this has happened with our products.
- HALOOV is a cleaner for stable surfaces. It is never applied to the horse itself.
The seven-day rule
If you want full certainty around a competition, use the products that contain essential oils up to seven days before the start. For maintenance during the competition week itself there is the Pro range, formulated without essential oils, with an anti-odour component instead.
With essential oils
Stable Reset and Trailer Reset in 1 L and 5 L, and Odour Mist 500 ml. Everyday maintenance, outside the seven-day window.
Without essential oils
Stable Reset 5 L Pro and Trailer Reset 5 L Pro, at the same price and on the same ladder as the regular 5 L. Deep Reset 500 ml is formulated without essential oils as standard. Odour Mist has no version without them for now.
Because the Pro versions contain no essential oils, they also do not carry the supporting insect-deterrent effect. You get that from Odour Mist, outside the same seven-day window.
What we do not promise
We give no guarantee about the outcome of a competition test. We publish the full composition and this advice; the judgement stays with the rider and their veterinarian. If your federation applies stricter rules than the ones described here, follow your federation.
Look it up yourself
Every product has its own page with the specification, the method and the ingredient data as it is confirmed per final formula. That is also where the QR code on the bottle leads.
